Part I: The Pharaonic Era

  • Kick off your adventure with the iconic Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Get there early to beat the crowds and the heat. Don’t forget your Egyptologist hat and some sunscreen!
  • You can navigate the area with no guide but for a more convenient Hussle free experience you should book a tour.
  • If you are a history geek you might be craving more pyramids and history, then I will be recommending to add to your trip the smaller less popular pyramids: Memphis, Sphinx, & Djoser.
  • Based on our previous guests experiences we have brought you the top recommended tour for the pharaonic Egyptian history, afterall it might be a once in lifetime experience so we want it to go smoothly for you.

This tour is for the more History savvy tourists where you get to see all the pyramids in one day.

Part II: The Islamic era

  • Explore Islamic Cairo starting with the mesmerizing Mohamed Ali Mosque within the Citadel for breathtaking views of the city.
  • Lose yourself in the alleys of Khan El-Khalili. Hunt for souvenirs, spices, and traditional crafts. Don’t forget to haggle!
  • Catch a traditional Sufi dance performance at the Al-Ghouri Caravanserai. It’s an experience that’s as mystical as it is unforgettable, the only thing is that it is available only on 3 days a week, so you might send us a message to confirm the availability as it is mostly flexible.
  • Check the Egyptian museum of civilization, the museum has recently opened and it involves alot of history for all civilizations that had passed on the country on different eras.

Part III: Downtown

Did you know that downtown in Cairo looks very similar to Europe? With Belgian architecture all over the area and building that are more than 100 years old.

Downtown Cairo, often referred to as the “Paris on the Nile,” showcases a distinct European architectural influence, particularly from France and Italy, but with an Arab twist.

You can enjoy a meal at Cairo tower, where the restaurant is rotating so you get to see sides of Zamalek, Cairo, and Giza all at once.

Also you can visit Mamsha Misr, where floating coffeeshops are allover the Nile.

Your experience in Cairo will be marvelous, just make sure to always:

  • Respect local customs and laws, especially regarding dress code and behavior.
  • Dress modestly, particularly when visiting religious sites.
  • Watch your belongings, especially in crowded areas.
  • Use reliable transportation options like Uber & Didi.
  • Stay hydrated, especially in hot weather, and avoid tap water.
  • Beware of scams and touts targeting tourists.
  • Keep a list of emergency contacts handy, including our Whatsapp numbers, local authorities and your embassy or consulate.
